Day 18 of the 30 Day Ab Challenge


Day 18! We are cruising along! This has been a beautiful weekend.  I hope you are enjoying your weekend.  I still can’t believe we are in November!! This year has FLOWN by, hasn’t it?? We have the holidays right in front of us!! A time we KNOW we will have tons of sweets and food in our faces as well as a super busy time of year.  It will be extremely easy to make excuses to put your fitness and health goals on hold for the holidays and then make a New Year’s Resolution in January.  WHY?? Why lose the progress and awesome habits you made?  Now is the time to keep going.  Now is the time to decide before the exciting holiday festivities occur.  I am not saying don’t enjoy some pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving or yummy treats at a family Christmas party.  BUT I am saying come up with your GAME PLAN now.  Maybe on Thanksgiving you will eat just one piece of your favorite pie and not 3 pieces after you already stuffed yourself with Thanksgiving dinner. Or instead of munching on holiday sweets all December long you will only eat the sweets on the weekends or at the party.  Maybe you pick 3 days a week you wake up and workout, no matter what. This is a great time to think about what you will eat and when you will get moving during the holidays and make some goals.  That is why I like to do this 30 day Ab Challenge this time of year, because it end before the holidays begins.  Okay off my soap box… BUT my extra challenge for today is to think about and make your health and fitness goals for the rest of this year that will take you through the holidays. Now get day 18 done 🙂
