Simple Pineapple Ginger Soothing Drink
It is that time of year when sore throats and cough visit more often than we would like. It sure is at our house this week. My boys have the croup! No fun. I have a little bit of a sore throat. When I have a sore throat I get picky of what I eat and drink. I like to sip on a simple warm drink that will soothe my sore throat. That is exactly what this Simple Pineapple Ginger Warm Soothing Drink is. I make it several times a day and sip on it to help soothe a sore throat or a cough. The boys like it as well.
Simple Pineapple Ginger Soothing Drink
1 Serving
1 cup Water
1/4 cup Pineapple Juice
a sprinkle to 1/8 tsp ginger powder (to your liking)
1 Tbsp Honey
Mix the water and pineapple juice in a microwavable mug and heat from 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. (I like mine at 1 minute). Then add the ginger powder and honey and stir together. Sip and soothe your throat.
